数学与信息科学学院高度重视科研工作，具有良好的科研氛围。在学校的大力支持和全院教师的辛勤努力下，科研工作取得较好成绩。近年来，我院教师发表科研论文200多篇，其中被SCI、EI收录150余篇；主持国家自然科学基金19项、省厅级项目40余项，累计到账科研经费1500多万元，获得省级科技成果二等奖4项，厅局级科技成果一等奖6项、二等奖3项。
